Our Company Call Recording Service and On-Demand Call Recording Service contain features that, if enabled, will permit end users to record your company’s telephone calls. If you choose to activate one or more of these services, you are extending the option to record your company’s telephone calls to your employees.
You must select from a variety of notification options available through these services to provide call participants appropriate notice regarding your company’s call recording activities. You are responsible for ensuring that call participants are provided with appropriate notice and, where required, ensuring that consent to the recording is obtained.
There are both federal and state laws governing call recording. You should consult your own legal counsel for advice as to whether you are permitted to record your company’s telephone calls, and, if so, what notification you are required to include on the call and what consent you must obtain.
You are solely responsible for ensuring that your company complies with all applicable laws and regulations when using Vonage Business’ service.
